Breaking up with a partner can be a dark time in your life, no matter how healthy, prepared or strong you may be. It is up to you how you will make peace with this darkness. Don't forget to spend time on yourself. You owe that to yourself. You deserve it. You can't be happy with anyone unless you can be truly happy by yourself and with yourself. Don't hide behind your friendships and relationships. Invest time in your relationship with yourself. I've been in a relationship and had past friendships where the other person was jealous of the time I took to myself. Like, bro, how can you be jealous of me spending too much time with me?
